Location #1 - The Factory.
I have taken pictures of my garage which will become 'Warhol's Factory' after I have cleared away all of the junk and let loose with the kitchen foil and fairy lights. I believe that this is a good location to film as we have access to it at anytime, it nis inside so we wont have to worry about the weather on this one and I can decorate it as I please.
I now need to sort out bits of 'factory furniture' and arrange them along with the silver walls and the lighting. With this location, I want it to be slightly darker, and lit by artificial lighting mostly which would give a contrasted effect against the other two locations, the well-lit studio and the outside park.
I plan to renovate this space as soon as I can, I also had the idea of putting a matress in the space like the one which wouldve been on the floor of Warhol's factory.

Evening Matthew. I'm intrigued to see how this goes. Congratulations on your thoroughly deserved grade at AS, I hope you maintain that high standard at A2. Mise en scene certainly seems a strength of yours and if the good folk at Gold Rush get the wardrobe correct then you should have a visually stunning video.
ReplyDeleteCreating a convincing retro style will be interesting, try and have the aperture as wide as possible, this will help to saturate the shot and give that vintage and aged effect you're after. It will also hopefully get that streaked effect you see in many old TV performances
